After a week full of bad vibes, the Razorback football team got some good news in the commitment of offensive lineman Noah Banks. Banks already has the size that Arkansas looks for in offensive linemen, clearing the 300 pound mark.He also has some experience, originally playing at Murray State before going to JUCO.
Banks thought he was good enough to play at a higher level than Murray State and went to Iowa Western to try and prove himself. He did enough to get offers from the Hogs, Minnesota, Missouri, and Middle Tennessee. If the Iowa Western name sounds familiar, Arkansas has had some success recruiting there, getting Sebastian Tretola a few years back.
Banks will have two years of eligibility coming to Fayetteville. There aren’t a ton of guys leaving, but with the sorry state of the line right now the opportunity is there for him to get some playing time.
