Weather
Sunny and 66 degrees at kickoff in Fayetteville on Friday with little to no chance of rain. Not a bad forecast for Black Friday Football.
Notes
There is no silver lining on this cloud. No chance of even the lowliest of Bowl Games. Nothing to build on for next season. So with so little to look forward to (until the silliness begins with AD and Coaching searches begin) I hope Hog fans will focus on what has been. Austin Allen has been a hero behind the last 2 years of offensive line struggles. His Senior Day is well worth celebrating. While nothing has been made official, this is all but a lock to be Bret’s last game as Head Hog. While nobody (including myself) is calling for him to stay, he was a great hire at the time, it just didn’t work out and it’s time to move on. He has always represented the team with class, humor and in a positive light and turned a program in a chaos tailspin into a stable group off the field. I’m glad that he’ll be able to coach out his (likely) last game with his players. I’ve got no idea what the next few months will bring to the Arkansas Football program, but I hope nothing but the best for those that are about to leave it, and I hope you will as well…
…and if things get too ugly on CBS, the basketball Hogs will be tipping off at 2:30 on ESPN. Go Hogs!
