A few things have happened since last we gathered together to watch a Razorback football game together. Jeff Long has been fired, it seems as though Bret has been let know that his fate is sealed as well and the talk of the town is that the BoT has convinced Gus Malzahn to come home (provided he can’t win the Iron Bowl and head to the CFP). I’ve got plenty of thoughts on all of those subjects… you’re welcome to follow on Twitter @ThePilote for those, but I’ll try to stay on subject here and this week’s football game. The primary question going into this week is who is going to take snaps for the Razorbacks? Is Austin healthy? Cole got himself popped for DWI after last week’s disaster. Could we dare for 4 touches this week for Hammonds? Have the coaches put together a game plan or did they spend all week looking for new jobs? I hate calling for bad news on here, but this has all the makings of a roll over and die game for the home team this week. Poor weather, Poor attendance, off the field issues and a (likely) lame duck coach, on top of Arkansas biggest kryptonite, a mobile QB. This could go sideways and in a hurry. I think the Bulldogs cover easily and we’ll see what that means for all the other question marks on Sunday & Monday. Here’s to hoping I’m wrong, Go Hogs!
