MLB Playoffs, NFL, and now the start of the NBA. There are plenty or professional sports underway and that means all kinds of ProHogs to keep up with.
NBA
A new season tips off tonight and three Hogs are on current rosters. First the one that changed teams. Patrick Beverley moved from Houston to the Los Angeles Clippers. He should be either a starter or one of the first options off the bench. Depending on how they decide to play him and (former teammate in Europe) Milos Teodosic.
Bobby Portis is in year three wth the Chicago Bulls, and he was competing for more minutes and potentially even starting, but an altercation with a teammate could significantly change things.
Joe Johnson is still getting money and buckets in Utah. They’re also losing a star player at a similar position so the minutes may go up for Iso Joe, although he may stay in is same role due to his age.
MLB
In Game 1 of the ALCS, Dallas Keuchel threw a gem. He threw seven innings of shutout baseball and got the win. His next scheduled start is for Game 4. The game will be a crucial one for his, and the Astros’ World Series hopes with the series tied at 2.
Over in the National League, Logan Forsythe has a hit and three walks in their series against the Cubs. His Dodgers are currently just a couple of wins away from the World Series, and he’s got their third highest batting average on the team this postseason.
NFL
Some big games across the league this weekend. Led by Hunter Henry who had five catches for a career high 90 yards. Two of those catches were part of their game winning drive and after the game he was pretty pumped about it.
