It's been a while since Arkansas has had a receiver corps as strong as this year's. The argument could be made it is as good or better than the Adams/Wright/Childs group but we need to see what happens on the field before determining that. This piece by Eric Bolin shows the different roles each plays. The group is very experienced and all of the five main guys are threats. Throw in Jeremy Sprinkle and that could make the job of Austin Allen a whole lot easier.
Now that the offensive line is set up, the next question is who will run behind them. There are plenty of options but as this article points out the first guy appears to be Rawleigh Williams. Kody Walker is listed as the backup but is still bothered by his foot so Devwah Whaley and Duwop Mitchell could see some more touches than usual. Throw in T.J. Hammonds and the staff will have plenty of players to choose from this Saturday to carry the ball.
ESPN and Saturday Down South have both released their week one predictions for the SEC games. Not surprisingly the picks for Arkansas are unanimous, but there are several unanimous picks for some of the bigger games as well. The SEC has a pretty good slate of games to open the season, check out and see who you disagree with most.
By now most people have seen the House of Cards themed senior poster Arkansas has released. Now you can read more about the origins of it here. If nothing else check it out for the outstanding picture of Bret Bielema in his Iowa days being "Out For Justice."
