Today is the day. After months of waiting and endless offseason content, fall camp is starting for the Razorbacks. We're still about a month from the first game, but pretty soon there will be a much better idea of who will play in the fall and who is rising up the depth chart. You can take a look at what some local writers are looking to as camp begins. ESPN has also released a fall camp preview for the Hogs.
In addition to that, ESPN is releasing a list of the top-25 players in the SEC, the first Hog on that list is Deatrich Wise. In a league filled with athletic pass rushers, Wise finds himself right near the top of that list. Taking the momentum he had at the end of last season and having it carry over into 2016 will be huge for the Hogs defense.
Saturday Down South recently talked to Knile Davis has he heads into his fourth year in the NFL. The jump to the professional leagues is always a tough one, and Davis talks about the different skill sets he's having to develop while in Kansas City. Even as a strong college running back, he's still having to constantly learn and improve in order to get more than special teams duty for the Chiefs.
We already told you about Andrew Benintendi's meteoric rise to the big leagues. It took him no time at all to get his first major league hit. In his debut, he ended the day with two base hits, the first coming off the Seattle Mariners' Hisashi Iwakuma. Benintendi had plenty of family in attendance to see the moment. There is plenty of video of his debut here, including some angles from the stands.
Arkansas hasn't released their basketball schedule yet, but details about the non conference portion continue to trickle in. Now it's been announced that the Hogs will play Austin Peay in December.
