The Hogs have picked up a flurry of commitments in the last week or so, and it’s continuing Thursday with the commitment of defensive end Ryder Anderson.

Anderson visited Arkansas unofficially last weekend and received an offer. He jumped on the offer pretty quickly, turning down offers from Boise State, Colorado, Air Force, SMU, and others including Harvard and Yale.
Bret Bielema often says he couldn’t care less what recruiting services say about players, and he’s proving that point this year. It seems most of Arkansas’ commitments are unrated and hopefully flying under the radar, and Anderson continues that trend. He isn’t rated on Rivals and doesn’t have a composite rating on 24/7.
This is Arkansas’ first defensive line commit in the 2017 class and the 14th commitment overall. Most of the Hogs’ commitments have been offensive players so far, so expect to see quite a few defensive commitments out of the next several pledges.
