After nearly a year-long run atop the SEC POWER Rankings, the Tide have been dethroned. Their in-state counterpart, Auburn, joined the party falling down the rankings.
Don't worry. You'll still find Vanderbilt where they were this time last season.
1) Ole Miss (3-0)
The Rebels had Bama fans leaving Bryant-Denny Stadium with 10 minutes left in the game with the most impressive win in SEC play in recent memory. Robert Nkemdiche showed himself as a man among many men on the Alabama fronts. The defense forced five tunrnovers and Chad Kelly tossed for 341 yards and scored four touchdowns. Everything is going the Rebels' way.
2) LSU (2-0)
As much of man as Nkemdiche is on defense, Leonard Fournette is on offense. Though LSU dominated in every facet of this game, Fournette was by far the most spectacular item down on the bayou. He is Adrian Peterson plus 15 pounds, rushing for 228 yards (of the team's 411!!!) on 12 carries for three scores. Worst part of the whole deal? The Wrecking Ball will be around for at this and at least one more season.

I'm starting a movement to have this move bronzed and made into the new Heisman trophy:
3) Georgia (3-0)
Nothing more Bulldog fans like than layin' a whooping on Steve Spurrier. It was a good weekend for just that in Athens. Georgia quarterback Grayson Lambert set an NCAA record for highest completion percentage with 20+ attempts (24-of-25). Those are EA Sports-type numbers. Nick Chubb also put up another 150+ yard day with two rushing TDs.
4) Texas A&M (3-0)
The Aggies keep on rolling with a win over Nevada. I wish I could say they will face more of a test this week in Arlington, but I can't say it with any confidence. A&M will look to move the ball much the same way as Texas Tech did against the Hogs, quickly and efficiently.
5) Tennessee (2-1)
That's how you play a non-conference game. Score 35 in the first quarter, bring in the backups for reps and save your starters.
6) Alabama (2-1)
Many are saying that this is the beginning of the end of the Alabama dynasty, but that column is written every time the Tide suffers a loss or doesn't cover the spread. There are plenty of details and schemes in which Alabama must get better, but saying this is the end seems a bit premature.
7) Florida (3-0)
The quarterbacks in their matchup with Kentucky combined for 21-of-46 for 251 yards and three interceptions. The Gator defense continues to thrive though, only giving up field goals. Tennessee comes to town this weekend which should provide more of a defensive challenge.
8) Mississippi State (2-1)
Quarterback Dak Prescott became the Bulldogs all-time leading passer with a 227-yard, two touchdown day.
9) Auburn (2-1)
It wasn't that long ago those folks on The Plains loved riding the Gus Bus and the hiring of Will Muschamp a few months ago. As Bob Dylan would sing it: " for times they are a-changin'."
10) Kentucky (2-1)
Wildcat fans thought that this could be the year to end the streak but a heinous offensive output kept the 29-year nightmare from becoming a dream.
11) Missouri (3-0)
There's nothing to see here... Woof. The defense is really good. Maty Mauk still can't lead an offense.
12) Arkansas (1-2)
Thanks for the effort Alex Collins. It was painful, yet fitting, to see the game end with the ball ripped from his clutches. This doesn't ease the pain of the consecutive losses, but it will put a smile on your face:

13) South Carolina (1-2)
Spurrier, as expected, was not a happy camper and was in mid-season form during his presser. Gotta think his days are numbered...
14) Vanderbilt (1-2)
A WIN! A WIN! A WIN! This is huge news for a team that hasn't won a game since November 1, 2014. In typical Vandy luck, it will be rewarded with a trip to Oxford to take on the hottest team in America.
