On satellite radio, the game will be on Sirius and XM 81.
Spread
Arkansas is listed as a 12.5 point favorite over the Red Raiders with an O/U of 70.5 (!!!). Seems like Vegas thinks that last year’s Razorback squad will be taking the field in Fayetteville instead of whatever team showed up last week in Little Rock. I’d like to think we can cover the 12.5, but 70.5 seems like a lot of points, especially if our defense has the kind of rebound that we desperately need to see before SEC play begins.
Weather
71 degrees at kickoff DWRRS on Saturday with 0% chance of rain. You’ve got a beautiful day to get well lubricated before the game begins and the team is going to need every bit of energy that you can bring into the stadium.
Notes
You, yes you Hog fan. Did you wear your white game day shirt last week instead of your red one? Drink out of your "1994 National Champions" coffee mug instead of your "Go Hogs Go" one? Let your brother-in-law sit in your lucky seat because your wife said, "let it go this week, it’s just Toledo"? Attend a "home game" 3 hours away from campus? (Ooops). Think real hard, there’s something you did differently last week that caused this mess, so shape up. Texas Tech is bringing a high-powered offense into Fayetteville and we’ve put a defense on the field that has been less than stellar so far this season against not-quite SEC caliber offenses. As we discussed this week in our Panel Discussion this game has a huge bearing on the trajectory for this team. Win, and we can salvage a respectable season (Missouri last year), lose and, well, we’ve seen that movie before recently. So it’s on you Hog fans, shape it up this week… And Coach, we’ll wear the right shirt, drink our coffee out of the right mug and not let ANYONE sit in our lucky seat, if you’ll not talk about other program’s schedules until proving we can handle our own, deal?
