Mike Anderson has found one more player to help the Hogs this season.

The Razorbacks scored a late commitment from Lorenzo "Doobie" Jenkins, a 6'7" forward from Florida. Jenkins had been expecting to be a 2016 prospect, but was able to reclassify as a 2015 player, so he can join Arkansas immediately and play this year.

After averaged 14.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals a game last season, Jenkins should add much-needed depth to Arkansas' frontcourt, which was significantly hampered by Ted Kapita's likely year in prep school and the uncertainty of Jacorey Williams following his arrest.

Jenkins will join Jimmy Whitt as the only true freshmen on this year's Razorback squad (assuming Kapita doesn't make it). As such, Jenkins' scholarship takes away one of the openings from what could still be a huge 2016 class.

Jenkins also had offers from Chattanooga, Tennessee Tech, Richmond, Kennesaw State, and The Citadel.
