The Hogs will take on the Yellow Jackets in New York City this fall, according to Jon Rothstein. Arkansas will then play either Villanova or Stanford the following day (yes, the second game could directly conflict with the Missouri football game), depending on how the Thanksgiving Day games work out.
Georgia Tech only won three ACC games last year but did have wins over SEC opponents Vanderbilt and Georgia. They lost a pair of senior big men but should return plenty of upper classmen next year.
Arkansas should play either Akron, Wisconsin-Green Bay, East Tennessee State or Savannah State prior to the New York City event as a NIT on-campus game. Arkansas has already announced non conference games on the road next season at Wake Forest (Dec. 4) and Dayton (Dec. 30), and at home against Northwestern State (Dec. 1) and Texas Tech (Jan. 30). The full schedule has not yet been announced. It will likely be released in the next couple of months.
