The day before signing day Kendrick Jackson picked Arkansas over Arizona. Linebacker was probably the biggest need of any position in this class. Without this class, Arkansas would only have five scholarship linebackers.
Jackson had offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Arizona, Memphis, and Hawaii among others. He was committed to Arizona since July but decommitted from the Wildcats after visiting Arkansas last weekend. It was pretty telling where he was going after that, but Louisiana Tech was still in the picture since they're located in the same North Louisiana region where Jackson is from.

Jackson is a player that Arkansas can develop and may be able to contribute immediate as a backup, or as a special teams player. Building depth at linebacker was crucial in this cycle.
