Arkansas got a couple of victories in Houston during the past month or so. One was over those hated Longhorns, and the other was when they snagged Nate Dalton from the Lone Star State.
Dalton is the second cornerback in this class. Both of which are over 6-feet tall. That in itself bodes well for the future of the defense here.
He had offers from Oklahoma, Kentucky, Michigan, Kansas and Boise State. He took three of his officials. He visited Kentucky and Oklahoma in December and Arkansas in January. He committed shortly after his trip to Fayetteville. Robb Smith and Clay Jennings were his main recruiters.

Dalton was a crucial part in Arkansas regaining that Texas pipeline. He was a late bloomer who blew up on the recruiting scene over the last few months. Many analysts expect him to be an impact player.
