After Sam Irwin-Hill graduated this season, one of Arkansas' biggest needs in this class was a punter. While Blake Johnson may not have an Australian accent, or be able to throw a boomerang, he is a very suitable replacement.
Johnson's recruiters at Arkansas were Rory Segrest and the since departed Jim Chaney. He had offers from Colorado, Duke, and Oregon State; but Texas and LSU were showing interest. He committed to Arkansas way back at the end of July and only the Razorbacks were the only official visit that he took.

Punters really don't get the respect they deserve from the recruiting services. While he was rated very low, he was an Army All-American and a consensus top 5 player at his position. So his punting skills do not seem to be a concern, let's just hope he can do this.
Sam Irwin-Hill for Fayetteville mayor. What a call/play for #Arkansas. VINE: https://t.co/srtu4MB6Ry
