Razorback Fan Barrett Baber Advances To Live Rounds Of The Voice

Hog-loving musician summons inner Brandon Allen, survives Knockout Round

Native Arkansan and longtime Razorback fan Barrett Baber survived another round of cuts Monday night on NBC's singing competition The Voice, besting competitor "Blind Joe" in the show's Knockout Round to move on to the live performance portion of the contest. Baber gave an inspired performance of Zac Brown Band's "Colder Weather" to punch his ticket to the next round, in which votes from the viewing audience determine who moves on and who goes home.

Arkansans in general, and Razorback fans specifically, have historically done an excellent job of getting out the vote in just about anything that can be voted on through the Internet, and a local talent like Baber is a worthy cause to which Arkansas Fight gives a hearty endorsement.

And if you're concerned about his "ah-woo" Hog Call that was featured in his season premiere audition, have no fear.  The KNWA crew took time to coach Baber on a correct call in a video that was played inside Razorback Stadium during the Auburn game.

Woo Pig, Barrett!
