Arkansas Recruiting Update: Visitors for Northern Illinois: Catfish Hole Magic Part I

Most of these visits are unofficial, so most of them won't be at the Catfish Hole - at least not for the big party we see for big official visit weekends - but we liked the title regardless.

Recruiting never stops. As Arkansas continues through their season they will host recruiting prospects each week they have a home game, this week is no different as the Razorbacks will host a number of talented recruits.

For those of you new to recruiting, here is how it works.

Each prospect can take up to 5 official visits. During which, Arkansas and the coaches get to wine and dine these prospects for a weekend in hope of landing a commitment at some point afterward. These weekends usually include a trip to the Catfish Hole in Fayetteville. That's where the magic happens.

Along with official visits, prospects also get an unlimited amount of unofficial visits. Unlike official visits, these are not all expense paid weekends and prospects must pay their own way.

Official Visitors:

OL Jalin Barnett- A consensus 4* player from Lawton, Oklahoma. He has a top two of Arkansas and Oklahoma. The Sooners are the overwhelming favorite for him, but Arkansas has had some success snagging highly recruited Offensive Linemen in the past couple of years. This will be one to watch close.

LB Derrick Graham- Holds offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, Florida, Nebraska and many others. Linebackers are at a premium at Arkansas. Would be a major commitment should Arkansas get this player out of Wauchula, Florida.

PF Malik Dime- Mike Anderson isn't missing out on a chance to impress recruits on a football weekend. 4* Dime has offers from Arkansas, Iowa State, Kansas, USC, Washington and others. Arkansas will have at least 2 scholarships to fill at the end of the year, and Dime would fit perfectly in Anderson's system.

Unofficial Visitors:

TE Will Gragg- The 4* TE will be announcing his college decision Tuesday at 10 AM. After a very uncertain summer, many expect him to pick the Razorbacks.

S Dre Greenlaw- A safety from Fayetteville and is currently committed to Arkansas State. If there is another player in the state that could get an offer from the Razorbacks, Greenlaw is likely it. He is a midterm enrollee, so if an offer were to come, it would be sooner rather than later.

DT Austin Capps- Class of 2016 recruit from Star City, Arkansas. The 4* holds offers from Arkansas, Louisville, and Mississippi State.

S Austin Quillen- A 2016 4* safety from Jenks, Oklahoma. He doesn't have any reported offers yet, but that will change.

ATH T.J. Hammonds - 2016 athlete from Pulaski Robinson. Just recently landed on the radar and is starting to receive interest from several schools.

LB Jordan Carmouche- Another 2016 recruit from Manvel, Texas. The 3* has offers from Arkansas and Houston.

Manuel Bunch- Making the trip with TE Commit Austin Cantrell. He's an unranked player from Roland, Oklahoma in the 2016 class.

Commits on Unofficials

QB Ty Storey- The pro-style quarterback of the future at Arkansas.

RB Rawleigh Williams- The lone running back commit for the Razorbacks right now.

WR K.J. Hill- The #1 ranked player in Arkansas announced his commitment to the Hogs a few weeks back. Part of the proposed 'package deal' with Will Gragg.

TE C.J. O'Grady- Was the second TE commit in the class. If Arkansas were to snag Gragg, it could be the best TE class in the SEC.

OL Zach Rogers- Making his 100th trip to Fayetteville, Rogers is a midterm enrollee at Arkansas.

WR Jordan Jones- The Razorbacks' only commitment to date in the 2016 class.

There will be other players make the game this weekend who aren't being reported right now, and there will be some listed above who cancel. That's just how recruiting weekends work.
