The one note from Bret Bielema's post-Auburn press conference that people are talking about is this: the Arkansas assistant coaches who spent the game in the booth were stuck in the elevators at halftime and were not able to get to the Arkansas locker room and talk to the team.
Those coaches, we believe, were Jim Chaney, Randy Shannon, Barry Lunney, and possibly Clay Jennings.
Let's say this first, I highly doubt this had much of an impact on Arkansas getting blown out in the second half. The coaches were able to get down during the lightning delay early in the fourth quarter and the team was no more effective after the delay than they were before it.
What seems most likely is that Jordan-Hare Stadium just had some problems on Saturday. The game clock didn't work for the entire first half. The play clock had problems for a piece of the second quarter. Apparently the Auburn elevators are somewhat infamous among those who use it as I remember seeing complaints before the game started.
Now, is any of that going to stop any conspiracy theories about Auburn and Gus Malzahn sabotaging the Razorbacks by shutting off the elevators. Doubtful. Really, it's an incredibly fun subplot to the game.

SO GO AHEAD AND RAGE AWAY! How do you not get the coaches to the locker room? HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? The Auburn coaches didn't seem to have any trouble as far as we know, NATURALLY. Arkansas sucked on offense in the second half because the offensive coordinator COULDN'T MAKE IT TO THE FREAKING LOCKER ROOM TO MAKE HIS GAME-CHANGING BRILLIANT ADJUSTMENTS.
CLEARLY THE SEC SHOULDN'T ALLOW AUBURN TO USE A STADIUM WITH LESS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY THAN WAR MEMORIAL STADIUM, RANDY.
The fix was in. Sabotage. BUT GUS IS THE OFFENSIVE GENIUS MEDIA DARLING AND NO ONE WILL CALL HIM OUT, BO.
The SEC just hates Arkansas. Obviously.
But for real though, how the hell does this happen?
