It's All Over – Arkansas' basketball season came to an end last night, just the way you might assume it would have – with a road loss that included scoring droughts for the ages. The Hogs took 31 more shots on offense than Cal and made one less shot than the Bears. It wasn't a good night for the Hoop Hawgs but Fred Gulley's dunk was nice. Here are some notes and quotes from the final game of Arkansas' season.
Spring Football Update – I was able to make it to the defensive coaches and players press conference last Thursday before spring break began. With a pair of new defensive coaches at the helm, you might think things are a bit odd for the Hog defense as spring ball gets going, but that's not the case. Here are some notes and quotes from Arkansas' first spring practice in full pads last Thursday.
Alabama Baseball Series – Arkansas opened up its SEC home baseball schedule with a series vs the Crimson Tide, who entered the contest with a record of 14-6 and a good chance of coming into Baum Stadium and taking a series from Arkansas. But after the Tide's big win on Friday night, the Arkansas returned to the diamond on Saturday and Sunday and captured a pair of wins to take the series, the first conference series win of the season. Here's the recap from Roll Bama Roll, the Bama SB Nation site.
Arkansas Softball – After a game one in which the Rebel offense dropped bombs, including a homer from each of the first four hitters in the lineup, Ole Miss cruised to a game one win over Arkansas. And when game 2 came around, Arkansas still found itself on the wrong side of the scoreboard, dropping game two convincingly as well, 13-6. But Arkansas refused to be swept in Oxford, and battled their way to a five inning win on Sunday, 15-7.

Out of the 11 million brackets, only 6 remain perfect. Those perfect brackets are split between George Washington & Memphis. I'm n this 6!!

This was Coty Clarke Friday night claiming he had one of the six perfect brackets remaining. I think he was being a bit facetious, but he still sent everyone into an uproar.
