Cornelius Floyd officially signs with Arkansas!
Floyd is a 3* and Randy Shannon was the lead recruiter. Floyd had many offers, but most notably are Oklahoma, Cincinnati, NC State, and Virginia. There wasn't a shortage of BCS schools wanting his skills and his 4.49 40 time. He's ranked in the top 100 cornerbacks on Scout.com, but it remains to be seen what he plays on the next level.
In High School he played Cornerback, Wide Receiver, and Running Back, but it remains to be seen what Arkansas Coaches decide to do with him. His speed could definitely be an asset on offense, but with the secondary being so porous during the 2013 season, you can see what Randy Shannon may have been recruiting him for that side of the ball.
It really doesn't matter where he plays. It's another great pickup from the state of Florida and another Randy Shannon prospect from South Florida.
