Bret Bielema Teleconference Tweetcap - December 3rd

Coach B took a few minutes from his week of recruiting to talk to the media about everything going on with the football team.

Sounds like everybody's going to be good to go for the bowl game possibly except for AJ Derby. I'd love to see Derby in uniform on the field one more time but I certainly understand there's no reason to put him out there if he's not 100%.

That's a nice thing to say but is FALSE. Birmingham is a bad bowl. It's in what I understand is a terrible stadium after New Year's against an AAC opponent. That is a bad bowl. It's better than no bowl, but it's still a bad bowl.

It would be great for as many of the newcomers to enroll this spring as possible. That's a big part of why Jared Cornelius was more ready to play this fall than the other freshman receivers.

Let's get to it.

Awwwww.

Yeah, I'm not going to touch on this one with a 39-and-a-half-foot pole. Not in this forum anyway. I will say I do appreciate athletes speaking their mind instead of canned SID-approved statements.

Definitely. Let them all find a bag of cash on their desks in the morning.

Hmmm, wonder who they might be?

Disappointing, especially in Korliss Marshall's case, but certainly not surprising. Hines hasn't even really been with the team all season.
