Notes

LSU just watched Ol Yeller get put down in their own back yard last week after going 12 rounds with Clubber Lang as well.  Meanwhile The hogs put their feet up, got healthy and maybe even drew up a new play for backup QB Sebastian Tretola.

Look, I've been calling for the breakthrough game every week since A&M and this is it.  It's the last time I'm going to call for Bert's first SEC win because it's the last time I'm going to have to.  LSU is out of the SEC title race and just watched it happen in a brutal fashion and we've still got the same team that held Bama to 14 and lost to the #1 team in the nation by 1 busted coverage play.  The team is rested, a Bowl Game is still in play, Korliss Marshall is back and Matt MF'n Jones is honorary captain of the game.

Get out to DWRRS, dress warm, be loud, sneak some bourbon in (Jeff Long told me it was OK just this once)*, because you'll only get to see this streak end once, and it's this week, in Bert weather against the team that doesn't want to admit we're a rival.  Bring it LSU... we're ready!
