The season opener is ONE DAY AWAY, GUYS! Arkansas fans know all they need to know about Louisiana-Lafayette, but the folks at ragincajuns.com did a breakdown of the opener against the Hogs. Everything from radio stations you can catch the game on, to twitter handles to follow within the ULaLa football department is in there. It's a great breakdown that includes several things to watch for tomorrow during the game. Kudos, ULaLa.
Just in case you can't make it the opener tomorrow in Razorback Stadium and have to catch the game at the house, Team Speed Kills made an SEC football television schedule that you should probably check out. This way, you can watch SEC football from the time you wake up to the time you go to sleep. Arkansas is one of 11 SEC teams opening their season on Saturday. FOOTBALL!
Jon and Kevin, the main guys at Saturday Down South, have done SEC week 1 predictions. Yes, both Jon and Kevin picked Arkansas to win, but if their predictions hold true, I'm not sure how many Hog fans will be ecstatic about it. I, for one, have the Hogs by 3 TDs. The point spreads are included, too, just in case you're thinking about throwing some money down.
The season opener is always a crazy, and fun time. The University of Arkansas has released game day information for the Lafayette game, including tons of stuff for fans to get into before kickoff at 3 pm. Important information regarding bag policy, parking, and not ever running on the field during the game is all there. Read it, and be informed.
USA Today came out with a story recently that we've probably all heard already. Bret Bielema wrote a handwritten letter to Jeff Long when trying to decide what to do with Bobby Petrino and blah, blah, blah. But just in case you somehow haven't heard the story, here it is. Dang, I'm ready for something else to talk about. I'm officially fed up with preseason talk.
