New Arkansas Football Uniforms: The Unofficial Release of the 2013 Edition

This debate may never completely simmer, but in the meantime these are much better than last season's.

USA TODAY Sports

No matter which side of the aisle you stand when it comes to updating the classic, plain look of the past vs. more modernized jerseys, the most recent updates may appease you.

The biggest difference is Nike has done away with the universally-agreed-upon-putrid smoke grey numbers of a year ago (as the NCAA mandated) as you can see in the picture above. It was tweeted by Paul Lukas, who runs ESPN.com's popular blog UniWatch, which is a perfect niche for nerds of the little things in sports like uniforms.

While these changes have not been officially released by the university, one is at liberty to believe defensive end Chris Smith is not just posing to pose.

Thank (or complain to) Nike for the changes.

Let me know what you think below. Like? Dislike? For those of you who can't let go, is there anything they can do to salvage the new uniform atrocities?
