The 2013 roster has John Matthews wearing the No. 92 jersey. The sophomore out of Osceola High comes in at 6-foot-2, 312-pounds
The player who had the privilege of adorning No. 92 the last four years belongs on the Hogs' All-Time Name Team, DeQuinta "D.D." Jones. The fact that his first name resembles that of a popular hotel chain is fitting. In that his 6-5, 305-pound frame is likened to one of the franchises in size.
He's a big boy, and we are all in appreciation to his mama for the name.
Here's an awesome SB Nation gif of him from the Cotton Bowl
The Bastrop, Louisiana native was originally committed to Michigan before spurning the then Rich Rod-led Wolverines for Arkansas just before Signing Day in 2009.
Jones started 22 of his 37 career games and recorded 99 tackles while coming up with only six tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. While Hog fans hoped there would have been more production in terms of numbers from him, he did fill up the middle at the line of scrimmage and created space for those around him.
Picked up as a free agent after this year's NFL Draft by the Seattle, Jones joins former offensive guard Alvin Bailey in trying to make a roster spot for the Seahawks.
