It's coming

Horace Arkadie, a red-shirt sophomore defensive lineman proudly sports the number 95 for the Hogs. The 6"4', 278 lb defensive end was a top 100 state recruit out of Irving, Texas, where he totaled 77 tackles (a staggering 9.6/game), four sacks, and two blocked punts as a senior. He turned down scholarship offers from Texas, Baylor, and Virginia, amongst others to bring his talents to the Hill.

Since Arkadie's arrival, he's moved around the line and back, starting at end, then bumping inside for his sophomore season. His versatility should prove valuable this year, where he looks to contribute to a deep and seasoned defensive line, a unit that looks to be a very big strong point for the Hogs next year.

Arkadie has a chance to establish a big role for the Razorbacks, even on a front four returning 3 starters in ends Chris Smith and Trey Flowers, and tackle Robert Thomas, who all may be gone after this season. Will Arkadie be the next force on the Arkansas D-line?
