I don't want it to go unrecognized on here that the Arkansas women just did something the men have not done in a long, long, time - advance in a post-season tournament. They beat Memphis last night to the tune of 67 - 57 in Bud Walton Arena. WPS! Sure, it was at home. But I just like the news of an Arkansas team beating somebody, anywhere in the post-season. They get a chance to do it again come Sunday at 2 PM when they face Tulane at Bud Walton. According to the UofA website, general admission is just seven bucks. If you are in Fayetteville, I hope you can get to the game and support the Hogs. There's no baseball in town. Speaking of which, I sure hope the Hogs can get a series win out in Columbia, a task that sure won't be easy. If you want to read more about the victory over Memphis, here is a link to the UofA's recap of the game. Again, congratulations to the women for advancing.
