So, I'm pretty sure he's not talking about Women's Professional Soccer when he tweeted #WPS, and then I clicked on the link and I knew he must've meant he was coming to Arkansas after having his picture taken with new head coach Bret Bielema. Chris Ash, the new Arkansas Defensive Coordinator was the lead recruiter for a player that played on both sides of the ball for a 2A state semi-finalist in Texas. D.J. Dean was committed to Utah, but reopened his recruiting and found a place at Arkansas.
D.J. Dean has speed and plenty of it. With a 4.5 40 time and over 1,000 yards rushing you know he's got some speed and moves to go with it. In the SEC it's all about speed and having a Cornerback that can keep up with any Wideout in the league is a must have for any defense. With 20 touchdowns on the ground, it wouldn't hurt to see him taking one back the other way every once in awhile.
D.J. Dean welcome to Arkansas.
