Name: Reeve Koehler
Position: Offensive Guard (Right Tackle in High School)
Height: 6' 3"
Weight: 321
High School/ Hometown: St. Louis High School, Honolulu Hawaii
Reeve had a relatively quiet recruiting process, and called his father from Fayetteville, on Saturday January 19th, and decided to become a Hog. The Catfish Hole always seems to have an extra special effect on Razorback Linemen, but maybe it was something about the energy in Fayetteville that led him to commit. We know that Sam Pittman had already built a relationship with Reeve while recruiting him to Tennessee, but sometimes all you need is a foot in the door.
Ranked as the Rivals #8 Offensive Guard in the 2013 class, he's an exciting player to see coming to Arkansas to wear the Cardinal and White. His run blocking is already at a high level, and if he can work on his pass protection, we may see him anchoring the Offensive Line for years to come. We've known many a few razorback linemen to make news in the NFL and win an award or two, let's hope we can see the same from Reeve. I watched a highlight video of Reeve, and the most exciting thing is seeing a big guy like that dominating from the snap and still finishing his blocks.
imua pua'a! Woo Pig Sooie! Go Hogs!
