Recruiting: Korliss Marshall, Denzell Evans, and Melvinson Hartfield Commit To Arkansas

Arkansas hosted four official visitors this weekend and three of them committed to Arkansas Sunday morning.

USA TODAY Sports

According to all of Arkansas' regular reporting outlets, the Razorbacks filled three more spots in their recruiting class on Sunday.

The first to commit was Korliss Marshall. The 6'0", 185 lb Arkansas native from Osceola was offered by Arkansas on Wednesday and is labeled as an athlete. He could play safety, running back, and/or special teams. He's listed as a 3-star player on Rivals.com

Soon after, running back Denzell Evans committed to Arkansas. He's from Bellaire, Texas and is a teammate of offensive lineman Dwayne "Not The Rock" Johnson, another player who visited Arkansas a couple of weeks ago and whom the Razorbacks are still going after. Evans is 6'0", 205 lbs and also held offers from Michigan State, Arizona State, Kansas State, and Colorado among others.

Finally, Melvinson Hartfield flipped his commitment from Kansas State to Arkansas. He's listed on some sites as a cornerback but will play receiver at Arkansas according to Richard Davenport. Hartfield is from Dallas and is listed as 5'11" and 183 lbs.

This makes 20 commitments for Arkansas' class. Quarterback Damon Mitchell also visited Fayetteville this weekend but has not committed as of yet. There are still a few recruits whose decisions the Razorbacks are awaiting between now and signing day. It should be an exciting next few days.
