The Razorbacks are down to 16 commits for their Class of 2014 with today's announcement Jared Cornelius is switching his pledge from Arkansas to TCU.
Cornelius is teammates with defensive back commitment Santos Ramirez, but the flip doesn't appear to be affecting Ramirez as he's landed in Fayetteville today for his official visit this weekend.
Here's what we wrote about Cornelius, who was rated a 2* by Rivals at the time but since been upgraded to 3*, when he committed to Arkansas in August:
Coming out of Evangel Christian Academy, one of the nation's elite high school programs, Cornelius is a 3* wide receiver on 24/7 and a 2* on Rivals (insert another snarky 24/7 vs Rivals comment here. I love our Rivals guys too. Danny and Trey don't get final say on evals.). Missouri was his other finalist, and he also had offers from Tennessee, Houston, Tulsa, Louisiana Tech and San Diego State.
Cornelius attended the late July camp on campus in Fayetteville, a camp that has produced some impressive results for the Razorbacks in the weeks since.
Here's a highlight video of him in a 7-on-7 tournament in July:
