Lines
South Carolina (-6) as of Wednesday night. Opened at -7. The Over/Under is at 51.5. That's a tempting line. Don't bet on your own team though, everybody. I learned that last week. You should follow Graham Reaves' The Weekend That Will Be tomorrow for his advice. He was 29-14-2 against the spread going into last weekend, and had the balls to take Florida -11.
Weather
Probably in the mid to upper 70s at kickoff. Chance of storms but as of now that appears to be mostly Saturday night after the game. Definitely worth keeping up with the weather if you're planning on going to the game though..
Notes
The immediate storyline for Arkansas is simple. It's the most winnable game of this four-game stretch to open SEC play, and one the Hogs need to win to have the best chance at being bowl eligible, and give the team some much-needed momentum. It's the only game during these four games whose spread is within a touchdown. All the others have been/will be double digits.
The two games in Fayetteville with Brandon Allen at quarterback have been by far the best two games Arkansas has played this year. If the Hogs play well again on Saturday and pull the upset, it essentially makes up for the Rutgers loss in terms of expected wins/losses and puts Arkansas back in realistic position to earn a bowl bid.

At least we think so.
After sitting out last week and having most of the country questioning his dedication to South Carolina in the face of making guaranteed FAT STACKS in the NFL next year, Jadeveon Clowney was apparently a full-go at practice today.

This obviously doesn't guarantee he'll be playing in the Ozarks on Saturday, but this does appear like a decent indication he comin'.
I was going to include a section on the end of the annual South Carolina series, but decided that was worth its own post, so you should check that out here.
