Sausage Links: Memphis blocks the SEC, Clowney crushes Michigan, Florida falls.

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

Memphis Basketball Coach Josh Pastner wants nothing to do with the SEC. Pastner does not want any SEC teams to get anymore exposure in the city of Memphis. So how do the Hogs get around this blockade that Pastner has put up? One idea is to play an annual game in Memphis. I like it, smart idea. Will it happen? Probably not, but it is an interesting thought. Here is more on the idea from

One of the best things about football is seeing someone getting rocked by a good clean hit. If you watched the Outback Bowl, you already know what hit I'm talking about. South Carolina's Jadeveon Clowney crushed Michigan's Vincent Smith. If you haven't seen it take a look and if you have already seen it, you can't watch it enough. Here is the video on ESPN.

The Sugar Bowl was not what most people had expected. Florida looked pretty terrible from the get go. Louisville dominated the game. Charlie Strong and company wiped the floor with the Gators and the game was never really in question. Bill Connelly from SB Nation has more on the game. Thanks a lot Florida, I really wanted to chant S E C last night.

Do you remember how excited you were the first time you saw a basketball game? The announcer for the Bucknell basketball game must have that excitement every time he watches one. Here is a clip of one of his games from Bar Stool Sports. Watch out Gus Johnson, he may be giving you a run for your money with his great sound clips.
