"Don't give up on us. It's our program, it's a state of Alabama program," Smith said, which, according to AP, prompted a room full of groans. "It's not one individual's program."
Someone actually pointed out the gaffe while Smith fielded questions from the crowd and he responded in his typical John L. Smith way: "I did? Where would that come from? I've never even heard of Alabama."
This should probably be the final straw for this crazy old man, but that doesn't seem likely. I kindly said that "maybe we'd be better off without him" in my last post about the smiling man from Weber State, but he's moved on from "Loser" status to full blown nuisance. I can't realistically predict our team to win another game while our leadership is idiotic. I want the players to start saying "we don't listen to this man... he doesn't know a thing about us or how to win".
We should fire this man today... We've already fired someone and been called crazy... for less.
