Lamar Jordan committed to the Hogs on Thursday. He is not a household name now, but he has the potential to be in the future with his 4.4 speed. Jordan, from Frisco, Texas is listed as an athlete. He could play defensive back or wide receiver in college. Some recruiting services list him as a 2 star.

Let's face it though, stars don't really matter. They are pretty to look at but at the end of the day, there is no telling how good or bad they will end up being.

Arkansas' hopes to be able to keep their recent recruiting success rolling this weekend. Tori Hunter Jr., is a highly touted recruit and will have to fight off some other big-time schools to get his name on the dotted line. Most MLB fans and Arkansans know his father Tori Hunter, Pine Bluff native and MLB star. Hunter is just one of many recruits that will be here this weekend.
