Hamilton racked up 1,335 yards and 90 receptions this year, enough to garner All-American honors from the Associated Press. These honors come after being a unanimous selection to the All-SEC first team last week. His season was highlighted by a 303 yard (SEC record) performance against Rutgers back in September. He also set Arkansas single season records for receptions, yards, and 10-plus catch games, as well as setting the career record for receptions and 10-plus catch games.
He'll be listed several places in Arkansas media guides for a long, long time.
Hamilton is joined on the third team All-American list with Clemson's DeAndre Hopkins. The first team players are Marqise Lee from USC, and Baylor's Terrance Williams. On the second team are Lousiana Tech's Quinton Patton and Stedman Baily from West Virginia. You can see the complete list of All Americans here.
Also, we should mention that joining Hamilton on the All SEC team are center Travis Swanson and punter Dylan Breeding. Both made the second team. Defensive end Chris Smith received honorable mention recognition after scoring 9.5 sacks in 2012.
