Razorback Media Updates - Radio and Website Moves

There have been changes on the local sports talk radio circuit, and one popular news site has been shut down.

US PRESSWIRE

Bo Mattingly's last show on 103.7 The Buzz will be November 9th. In central Arkansas, his show will air on 93.3 beginning December 10th. The major issue appears to be the time slot, Mattingly's show already airs from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. on many stations around Arkansas, but was stuck with a 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. slot on the Buzz. He will air from 2:00 - 6:00 on 93.3.

The Buzz will begin airing a new show in Mattingly's place, hosted by former Razorback quarterback Matt Jones and veteran broadcaster Trey Schaap.

93.3 recently began airing a show with former Arkansas running back Micheal Smith and former channel 11 sports anchor Wess Moore. Their show will air in front of Mattingly's show.

Beginning tonight, 93.3 will also air "Weekly Fried with Blake Eddins and Rex Nelson", a show dedicated to sports, politics, culture, and Southern food discussion. It will air Monday nights from 7:00 - 9:00.

And in case you missed it last week, ArkansasSports360.com has been turned off. Editor Chris Bahn has accepted a role as a business reporter for Arkansas Business, but the Ink Warrior may continue dabbling in sports one way or another. He'll keep us posted.
