SB Nation BlogPoll College Football Top 25 Rankings "

Of the four big undefeateds, Notre Dame has been the least consistent. Oregon's had the weakest schedule to date. The Notre Dame/USC game will be telling.

I'm not dropping LSU for nearly beating Alabama. I've said this before, but if a lower-ranked team nearly knocks off a much higher-ranked team, dropping the lower-ranked team defies all logic.

If Ohio State were eligible for the post-season, they'd easily be in the top 5.

Texas A&M is really good. The only to teams they've lost to are ranked ahead of them, and they nearly beat both.

Louisville's winning, but not dominating anybody.

UCLA is playing really well right now.

The first 19 or so teams are easy to pick out. It's tough after that. I picked some MAC teams with solid records. I really didn't want to include Texas, but they just beat a ranked Red Raider team, so, they get the #25 spot.

MIssissippi State hasn't beaten a good team. And hasn't scored a point in the last two weeks. I don't rank them.
