Poll: Two Games In, What's Your Take on the Running Game?

While enjoying our nightly wine-and-cheese hour on the veranda of our palatial Expats estate and listening to the soothing sounds of the house string quartet, we sometimes pause to wonder what the hoi polloi - the domestic beer drinkers, if you will - think about a given issue.

Last week, we asked you, the great unwashed, to let us know how you were feeling about the running game. This week, we've come up with the original idea to ask you ... how you're feeling about the running game.

I had a mixed reaction to the performance of the ground game in Saturday's nail-biter of a victory over New Mexico. On the one hand, it definitely looked better than it did against Missouri State. The total yards were better, and Ronnie Wingo had a few nice runs in the second half. On the other hand, a large percentage of the rushing yards were accumulated by Tyler Wilson and Joe Adams, and I would have liked to have seen the running backs really dominate the Lobos, which they didn't do.

I'll be patient though: remember that it wasn't until late October last year that Knile Davis became a beast in the backfield. In the meantime, I'll choose the "mildly worried" option in the poll below. And, oh yeah: hurry back, Dennis Johnson.

On with the poll ...
