Not a bad way to get your first career sack, even if it is a preseason game.
I don't know that going 2 hours qualifies as "camel" but ok. Anytime your head coach publicly discusses the offensive coordinator's urinary frequency, you have to post it.
"When the racks go up, the freaks come out!" Get an up close Ben Herbert show with this video. The Hogs held a special weightlifting session in the stadium under the lights earlier this week and it looks like it was pretty intense. 6 weeks!
I follow a lot of Arkansas people on Twitter that loved the Sharknado movies. And now, we get our own shark-themed movie. The synopsis of the movie basically goes like this: some people accidentally open up a section of the Earth's mantle and some prehistoric sharks come out and terrorize everyone, including a group of hot chicks who escaped from prison. It's already my favorite movie of all-time. H/t to Bart Pohlman (@SportsTalkBart) for the link. He tweeted it out first.
Arkansas was down 3-1 in the bottom of the seventh, threatening to extend the team's losing skid to seven games, but the Hogs rallied, with Andrew Benintendi delivering a 2-run double in the seventh, and Joe Serrano scoring the winning run in the 9th on a single by Chad Spanberger. Arkansas is now 10-8 on the year.
It wasn't mentioned in the documentary, but Arkansas played Duke in the preseason NIT at the beginning of the 1990-91 season and beat them. The Blue Devils played the Hogs in the Final Four earlier that year, but Nolan Richardson and his MayDay crew got them back the next season.
Pretty cool. The result of a season's worth of hard work. But like Walter White said, "still got things left to do."
This is Qualls' 13th appearance on the SportsCenter Top Ten, which is ridiculous. This was a outback dunk late in the game against South Carolina, a big play for the Hogs, obviously. Arkansas' SID people do a great job of getting ESPN's attention for these things. I would definitely use it as a recruiting tool, you know, if the Hogs happened to be recruiting a highly athletic type of player with a propensity for highlight dunks. Hypothetically.
