Recruiting News: Arkansas hasn't landed a commitment for the Class of 2015 since late April, but recruiting tends to pick up this time of year, partially due to summer camps, and the Hogs are hosting their Elite Prospects Camp this weekend. Richard Davenport has details on some of the players putting their talents on display for the Razorback coaches this weekend.
UA really really reeeeallllly needs people to buy season football tickets. A week after introducing a new payment plan option that allows buyers to pay for their tickets in three installments, Arkansas is now offering a special Father's Day deal that waives the previously untouchable $15 order handling fee. All orders made by Sunday will also enter to win prizes like a Bielema-autographed football, a chance to walk in the Hog Walk, or two pregame field passes for "a select" (aka "non-conference") home game. I guess it's safe to say ticket sales are lagging. Obviously not a surprise. I'm more interested to know how the Little Rock sales are going since there's only one game in War Memorial and this year it's a big name in Georgia. No excuse not to sell that out.
Arkansas' over/under line from Vegas is 4.5. These are a little different from the AgainstTheNumbers.com lines that were posted a couple of weeks ago, where the Hogs were listed at 5.5. 4.5 is much more of what I was expecting to see this summer. I don't know if you want to go with the over or under on that but you definitely want to click the link to see the Vol fan in the comments who thinks 5.5 for Tennessee is perfect and apprently wants to push on that 5.5. Good luck!
SEC Teams as World Cup Teams: I know Arkansas is going to get zero respect this offseason, but saying we're South Korea? Ouch.
Although, if I'm being honest, if I wanted to watch an international competition with electric Brazilians, the World Cup pales in comparison to Street Fighter. And that's important.
