Impactful newcomers – As fans we spend the entire allotted spring practice time debating what new faces we think will make the biggest impact on the field in the fall. Then it carries into the summer then to the point where we can't handle it anymore AND WE JUST NEED FOOTBALL IN OUR LIVES. We need to see if we were on the money with our picks as breakout newcomer(s). So who will be that impact newcomer this year? We've got your answers right here. Here are my picks: Cody Hollister, and Bijhon Jackson.
Mid-week baseball – There will be more absolutely exhilarating mid-week baseball for Arkansas fans at Baum Stadium today as the Hogs face Stephen F. Austin for a short one-game set. The Lumberjack game preview claims Arkansas as a "power-hitting" ball club, so yeah. The Hogs have been showing more pop in their bats than usual lately, but still. SFA is fresh off being three-hit by Oral Roberts, and the last time these two faced off Arkansas pounded out 17 hits. So here's to hoping that happens again.
John Daly – I'm really not even sure where to go with this, but John Daly was an attraction during Master's week and didn't even tee it up one time. Instead, Daly was parked in the parking lot of a Hooters selling merch and whatnot to anyone who wanted to stop by. He'd pose for pics, sign stuff, just hang out. You know, just be John Daly. It's really too bad he didn't hit a tee shot out of someone's mouth last week. That would have been great to see again.
$11K to coach ASU spring game – Nope, you did not read that wrong. As it turns out, Arkansas State auctioned the head coaching position for a day for the Red Wolves spring game. Oh, and the winner isn't even affiliated with ASU in any way. But that didn't stop him from shelling out nearly 12 grand to coach the ASU spring football game. More power to you, football bro. I'm just not sure what to think about this. But cool, I guess.

Just read it, and shake your head. Props to whoever took the time to make this poem. It's really something. Oh, and it's kind of been proven that the school who tweets a recruit the most almost never lands him. So where does creating a Twitter page dedicated to a 17-year-old put Arkansas right now?
