Is Arkansas' quarterback situation sorted out already?

If Derby is going to be a tight end and Mitchell is going to be receiver, it seems pretty clear that the quarterback depth chart is 1-Brandon Allen, 2-Austin Allen, 3-Rafe Peavey. I'm not saying that's what it will be by the Auburn game, but it appears that's how it is today.

This is also really good news. Bret Bielema said at the beginning of spring practice that Cowan wasn't expected to practice through the spring because he had to improve his academics situation. That Cowan's situation has improved to the point that they're letting him practice midway through the spring session is a good sign.
Multiple reports indicated there was more shuffling along the offensive line. It seems the coaches will continue experimenting with that group for a while.
Defensive coordinator Robb Smith spoke with the media after the practice.
"[Last Saturday's scrimmage] told me that we're still a work in progress," Coach Smith said. "Right now we need to spend time cleaning up some things that we have already installed. I think we have a good baseline in and now as things move forward we have to get better playing situational football. We've got seven more opportunities and the spring game so we have to keep pushing forward and get where we need to be by fall camp."
Coach Smith also spoke about what the Razorbacks focused on in Thursday's practice.
"I think (head coach) Bret (Bielema) is doing a great job of teaching football IQ to our players," Coach Smith said. "The way you do that is you handle things in critical areas like third down and redzone situations. We had a lot of emphasis on that today and Tuesday, and that will really help us in the scrimmage on Saturday."

Also of note, Dave Wannstedt was reportedly at practice today.

The scrimmage is at the same time and place as last week's as far as I can tell. They expect to start practice around 11:45 am.
