Hog Trough Fancast #45 - Bite the Hand that Feeds

Clap if you're a fan of sour grapes! - US PRESSWIRE

Two losses in one week for the basketball team and the douchebaggery of the former football coaches comes out in full-form. We dissect the mess in true fan form.

We talk basketball this week, but the only term that comes to mind is from golf: mulligan. After an embarrassing loss against South Carolina and a nail-biter against the Crimson Tide, one-out-of-three members of the fancast is ready to throw in the towel. Rocky Balboa vs. Clubber Lang's first match kinda style.

The other major news this week were the comments former Arkansas Razorback coaches Paul Haynes, Paul Petrino, and John L. Smith made to Sporting News. Doc Harper from this very site wrote an amazing article, which we look at in-depth.

By the way, this is our ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW! Thanks to all the Hog Fans that listen each and every week. We do this for you!

Here are some of the things we discuss on this week's podcast:

  • The trials and tribulations of being an Arkansas Razorback basketball team.
  • Paul Petrino and Paul Haynes: Two douchebags sitting in a tree....
  • The final recruiting weekend up on the hill. Will Alex Collins come to Fayetteville?
  • If a student athlete goes to a different school than their home school, are they a terrible person?
  • Super Bowl talk

Recorded Saturday, February 2, 2013.

Plus, tweets of the week and a whole lot more. This is the Hog Trough Fancast.
