FAYETTEVILLE, AR - APRIL 24: New Head Coach John L. Smith (Photo by Wesley Hitt/Getty Images)

Razorback nation has not been smiling, but Football Coach John L. Smith really wants you to. He expressed this during his Monday news conference. This time it wasn't just one of his crazy rants, he actually had a reason for wanting people to smile. Chris Bahn, at Arkansas Sports 360, explains Smith's reason.

Tyler Wilson has stepped up this year on and off the field. When the football team quit, it wasn't the Coaches that held the team accountable, it was their leader and captain. Wilson called his teammates out and let it be known that the play fans had seen is not going to cut it. Wilson is hopeful that he will be able to come back this weekend against Rutgers. Adam Alter, of nwahomepage.com, has more on WIlson.

Rutgers will be visiting Fayetteville this weekend to take on the Razorbacks. The Scarlet Knights are off to a 3-0 start and hope to extend their streak. Jeff Briggs and Laura Amato have more on the upcoming matchup.

Im not going to say anything about this link except that I finally found an LSU fan that I like and respect. Just look at this video that Jason Kirk, of SB Nation stumbled upon.

Arkansas AD, Jeff Long, will be searching for a new head football coach sooner than later (if he hasn't already started). Jeff Blalock, at Bleacher Report, looks at a few interesting coaching candidates. They are not the names most people would think of, but it is a strange look at a strange situation.
